I want to go on a trip to paris and madrid with my school in april 2011,
but we need to turn in 00 by december 1st, 2010.

I’m most likely going to have to pay for everything myself.
I’m a 14 year old girl, and i don’t have a job.
This summer i want to look around for places that are hiring 14 year olds, but i can’t find very many.

Does anyone know alternative ways to earn money, besides being hired?
(Because i can’t seem to find ANYWHERE that is hiring people under the age of 16. And i won’t turn 16 until AFTER the due date.)

PLEASE… DO NOT tell me to do online surveys and crap, because they’re scams and plus, my dad would never let me do them.

And by the way, we also need to turn in 0 by september 2009, but i’m 99% i’ve got that covered, because my mom offered to pay that portion when i help take care of her one year old when her baby is born in august.
I do get an allowance of – a week, depending on if i have to go to my mom’s for the weekend (which means less opportunities to do chores, which means less money).
My dad refuses to increase my allowance, since i also have a younger sister and brother who get allowances too. :\
Everyone else is saying that to go with the school is way cheaper.

I want to get the Scion xB by the time I’m 16 and it’s around 17 grand. I’m currently 13 and it will take me 3 years. I just got a babysitting job today, but I haven’t started it yet and I don’t know what they’re going to pay me or how long I’m going to work, so I’m just gonna assume 50 dollars a month.

I get allowance for 8 a week, so that’s 32 a month, plus when I wash cars, I’m getting a total of 40 a month. We have 3 cars, and I’m washing each twice a month.

So overall, 32 plus 40 plus 50 equals 122, and 122 times 12 months equals 1464 a year and 1464 times 3 years equals 4392. It’s nowhere near 17 thousand. I want a good plan, because I really want this car. I’m trying to be wise and saving up for it early.

What can I do to make 17 grand by the time I’m 16?

I know that you can do stuff like medical transcriptionist and other things from home after you complete a short course. I don’t know exactly how it works, but I would like to get some more information on the subject.

Im not looking to get rich or anything from it. I just want something that I can do during the day from my home on the computer. I have a 2 year old and would like him to be home with me most of the time. I don’t want something that’s gonna take up a TON of my time but I would be willing to devote 8 hours a day to something.

I’ve heard of this working for some people and I thought, okay…I can voice my opinion for cash and/or prizes, no big deal. Boy, was I wrong. The first "survey" that I actually had time to complete (or so I think I completed) was a huge ordeal. For 00 walmart gift card I was supposed to…

- and I skipped
-Complete any two offers and then I would receive my free gift card
-so I completed 2 offers (knowing that I could cancel them later) but paying a small shipping fee or activation fee of a couple bucks
-go back to pick some optional offers screen
- 2 more completed offers to continue
-4 more completed offers to continue
-back to the option offers screen
…anyways this 3 ring circle continues for another 2 HOURS and I look up and this "survey" has led me into opening 8 additional tabs that all led to dead ends in the button pushing. So what happened? Did I spend bucks in registering for 15 products/services that I’m just going to spend another 2 HOURS in a couple days canceling (to prevent further charges)? I didn’t seem like I really got any free gift card, or whatnot, after all. I missed out on 2 hours of playing with my son with the idea that I was going to voice my opinion and make some money. Sorry for my venting. I guess my questions are…

-Is there really a survey company out there that you actually can make money/prizes from?
